I love offering counselling. I regularly get to witness my clients move from stuck survival mode to thriving. Clients seek counselling for so many reasons - for clearly defined reasons such as bereavement, anxiety or relationship issues to a sense of just feeling stuck, unhappy with everything or not enjoying being in your own head. I'm here for all of that and more. I have resources that I can give you that have helped me and others (if you want them) but we will work out ways through together.
About me and my practice
I have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and worked in IT for a decade, both public and private sector in Edinburgh, London and Luxembourg. This enables me to work well with my clients where work stress is an issue. I started to change career in 2005 and now work purely as a counsellor/psychotherapist.
I'm also a qualified yoga teacher with meditation and breathwork skills if that's of interest.
I also have an interest in creative writing and reading for therapeutic purposes- I only use this with clients who are interested in exploring this.
I tailor how I work according to what resonates for you - we're all different. I love working with a wide range of clients.
I enjoy working online using Zoom and also do walk & talk sessions in East Lothian, Scotland.
